Santa Lights Manassas, also known as the Tree Lighting, has been a fixture in the Manassas community for over 29 years! It takes place on the Friday night before the Christmas Parade beginning at 5:15p.m. This year’s event takes place on Friday, December 1.
The magic of the evening begins with holiday musical performances and then Santa arrives in Manassas shortly after 6 p.m. After the tree is lit, Santa and Mrs. Claus greet all the children and listen to their holiday wishes near the gazebo. Families can enjoy free wagon rides to get into the holiday spirit. The Harris Pavilion Ice Rink will be open for business as well as the downtown shops and restaurants.
